The Child Protection and Family Services Agency (CPFSA) also engages in community outreach and public education to raise awareness about child rights, prevent child abuse and encourage better parenting, all within the context of the Child Care and Protection Act.  In July 2012, the Agency embarked upon a campaign called, “Every Child is My Child,” to promote community responsibility for the care and protection of children. Under the programmes, the agency holds town hall meetings in communities across the island along with partner agencies.
The Agency also carries out school outreach, and also particpates in a range of community expos and other events geared at educating the community about child protection.
